Ms. Poole received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston, Bates College of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Poole taught high school sciences.
Ms. Poole is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a degree in biology and premedical studies.
Licensed to practice law in both Texas and Florida since 1981, Ms. Poole has been an active trial lawyer for 32 years and has represented defendants in personal injury cases arising from automobile traffic crashes, premises liability incidents, other general negligence matters, as well as PIP and SIU matters. Ms. Poole has extensive trial experience, having tried at least fifty jury trials in a first- or second-chair capacity. Ms. Poole has also served as corporate trial counsel for one of the largest insurance carriers operating in the state.
Ms. Poole has been awarded an “AV Preeminent” rating by Martindale Hubbell Peer Rating, the highest rating attainable by an attorney. Ms. Poole is also a Certified Civil Court Mediator, Qualified Arbitrator, and Certified Postal Redress Mediator.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ms. Poole has deep roots in the South Florida legal community. Ms. Poole was trained in insurance defense work by her father, John G. Poole, Jr., who in turn was mentored by the venerable T.J. Blackwell at Blackwell, Walker, and Gray in Miami, Florida. Ms. Poole has practiced in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties all of her career.
